Adriapol Institute in cooperation with Marin Barleti University, under the High Patronage of The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, will organize in the days 3 and 4 November, the first International Forum in Albania about Smart City.

The Forum – which will see the participation of the Prime Minister, ministers of the Government of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and important actors with regard to the topics on the Smart Cities from Italy, England, Austria, Netherlands and Germany – will lay the foundation for future initiatives and collaborations.

Instituti Adriapol becomes member of European Business Network.  EBN is a network of around 150 quality-certified EU|BICs (business and innovation centres) and 100 other organisations that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs. EBN is also a community of professionals whose day-to-day work helps these businesses to grow in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way.

A society, an economy, a country develops where creative ideas of young people become always part of new ventures. The exchange of ideas and experience between business and student’s creativity, will serve the future of the economy of a country. This was also the aim of the round table with the theme “Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Creativity” organized by the University “Marlin Barleti “.

On Monday 27th and on Wednesday 29th of August, at premises of Kruja Municipality took place a
training session in a framework of the project Soft Skills for the Local Government Units. The topic of
the training was Project Cycle Management. The training was leaded by Ms. Irida Nikolla, lecturer at
University Marin Barleti.

The training was attended by employees from different sectors of public administration, such as social
service office, urban planning office, economics office, public service office, etc. The participants had
the possibility to learn about how to write a project proposal, budgeting, structure of labor division,
determination of activities, the role of project management, visibility action and the process of monitoring
and reporting.

EDIC, Albanian Institute for Public Affairs in collaboration with Marin Barleti University organized the three days
seminar with Prof. Fabio Fonti for the professional training regarding the training of human resources.
The seminar handled issues of Human Resources Management such as Challenges, Alternatives and
Solutions.

This seminar consisted in a three days cycle of lectures which aimed to help for a better understand
of organizations and people’s relations inside those. Similar knowledge will significantly help into the
professional life, offering enough tools and abilities to manage in effective manner people and carrier.

During the seminar are handled issues such as, motivation and decision making, effectiveness of groups,
lidership and networks.
