Yes, many fill their pages with trite pieces of advice and don’t help much at all.

I’ve read many, however, that changed my life after reading them.

Android Auto will turn your phone into an in-dash display for your car

Two years ago, Google’s idea for Android Auto was pretty cool: Allow people to connect their phones to their car infotainment systems so they could get directions, answer calls and control music playback without having to reach for their handsets.

And while Android Auto supports about 200 models, there’s certainly a chance that your ride isn’t one of them. Thankfully, the next version will allow you to use it on your phone. All you need is an Android device running version 5.0 or newer of the OS.

Gmail is getting a big revamp today in what Google calls “the biggest overhaul of the app in nearly four years.”

While it’s largely an aesthetic change, there are a few interesting new features to note.

Interesting story from a tech company trying ecosystem innovation. I can still see that resources for MNCs are not deployed for developing countries, only sales people and pretend support. This is sad as the potential for the 6B people are easily ignored, then Executives hide behind the market immaturity or stability. And even if big multinational put some resources, the managers in charge usually have no connection, nor passion to take the risk that is needed to help develop the ecosystems that will bring products and services for the 6B people. Many new upstarts are now uprooting them and will eventually kill their businesses. I see them everyday on the ground.

HBAN looks to raise record €6M in 48 hours

HBAN, the all-island organisation responsible for the promotion of business angel investment, today announces that it will seek to raise new funds of €6M in the space of just 48 hours, starting Wednesday 9th November in Waterford. The organisation will also visit Cork, Dublin and Galway, speaking to potential new business angels looking to invest in some of Ireland’s most promising start-ups.

During the Roadshow, which can be attended by pre-registered members of the public and potential angels, HBAN will share information on what is required to become a successful business angel investor. It will also provide the opportunity for prospective angels to network with HBAN’s existing angels.
